Starting Again: What Has Changed in Higher Education Since 2003?

I first began working with university staff-development teams in 2003, and I am delighted to continue my long association with the Staff Development Forum.

In this new article for SDF, I look at what has changed since then—from the growth of digital learning to the arrival of AI and the increasingly pressured environment in which university staff work.

I also discuss Student Compass and our new pilot with Heriot-Watt University Students’ Union, which will be available to approximately 10,000 students.
